Andrea Ager- CrossFit Tabata

CrossFit Athlete Andrea Ager performs a ridiculous Tabata workout consisting of a selection of staple CrossFit movements, and also takes a minute to talk about Tabata and CrossFit in general.
Exactly what is Tabata? 20 Seconds of sprint/work, 10 2nd rest, for 4 straight minutes. Tabata music lets you concentrate on your workout, instead of think about having to take a look at your watch or a timer.

Tabata Training started in the mid 1990's. Japanese fitness scientist Dr Izumi Tabata developed a HIIT (high intensity interval training) exercise, using this very technique. Dr Tabata showed the tabata approach to draw heavily from both the aerobic and anaerobic systems, unlike the majority of traditional workouts, which tend greatly prefer one or the other.
The Tabata Interval has actually gotten a lot of recognition throughout the Crossfit community, running community, and health clubs around the world, for its versatility, versatility, and positive outcomes.
The Tabata Interval Approach has actually shown to optimize VO2 max, while likewise developing endurance, burning fat, and keeping muscle. Though the Tabata was not created as a fat loss or weight-loss program, it has actually acquired a great deal of recent interest in reaction to tabatas capability to accelerate the metabolism and burn fat.

how often do i have to do this in a week ? everyday ? and does this really
help ?
+hanna Voss If you do variations of tabata a few times a week in addition
to some longer workouts you will certainly see a huge improvement!
The legend says… that not a single pull up was done that day

You completely missed the point of my post. Not surprising…
+ReIigionlsForIdiots funny you mention deadlift, please tell me the
difference between the deadlift in crossfit and in standard gyms, and
wonder why it’s called just deadlift and not butterfly deadlift or
couchdeadlift.
+Fernando Diaz
I developed this new style of dead lifting where there are two people on
either side of you that lift the weight for you.
I call it Kip lifting. It’s great because now even housewives can do dozens
of reps with hundreds of pounds with ease! It sells memberships like crazy!
Also I like to get snarky with people when they say it’s not a deadlift.
I always tell them, “Hun, this is a Kip Lift. What you’re looking for is
called deadlift. But you won’t learn the difference sitting on the couch.”
Then I feel super smug and fulfilled in how smart I am and and how dumb
they are.
+Don Missit kipping pull-ups, yes. What you’re looking for is called
straigh pull-ups. You won’t learn the difference sitting on the couch
though.
Com toda certeza ela nao tá pura…
That’s a cool looking gym!
How long before I stop dry heaving in the middle of my cycle…. Anyone?
+MountainGuerrilla Great! LOL. At least it is not starting until my 5th
cycle now.
+Mad Flavor Disciple if you;re going hard enough, then never
